Where science meets wellness.
I’m a pediatrician and mom of three young girls.
I'm here to share science-backed wellness for kids through the lens of a real, working mom. You already have a doctor—I’m not here to be that. Instead, I’ll give you my real-life approach to keeping my kids healthy outside the medical system—because let’s be real, it’s the day-to-day that really counts. Parenthood is messy, amazing, and everything in between. My goal is to empower and inspire you to create the healthiest life for your family.
I’m a physician mom who never planned on giving my kids a smartphone until high school. But after reading iGen and The Anxious Generation, I realized something important: all of us—myself included—need more information and honest conversations about how digital technology is shaping our children’s lives. I’ve also started to recognize that it doesn’t really start with the iPhone, it actually starts younger with the iPad and YouTube shorts.
We have to learn together how to be more digitally mindful. That means teaching ourselves and our kids to use technology as a tool—one that aligns with our values and goals—rather than letting it control our time, attention, and mental health.
Since then, I’ve been starting conversations and giving data-driven presentations to just about anyone willing to listen. The response has been incredible. Parents everywhere are inspired, ready to support each other, and eager to change the trajectory of childhood for the better. I feel so grateful for the opportunity to be part of this movement.
If you have questions or would like me to speak locally at your school, parenting group, or church, please reach out. There’s no shame or judgment here—only education, encouragement, and empowerment from one mama who’s still figuring it out right alongside everyone else in this new world of AI and digital parenting.
